Principal's Message

Respected Teachers, Parents and my dear Children,

Good morning..! A very Happy Republic Day 2024…!!

This Republic Day marks the 4th Anniversary of the Inauguration and Blessing of our new school building. It is indeed a day of great joy, rejoicing and thanksgiving to God for His manifold blessings upon our school for last six years.

On this auspicious occasion of the 75th Republic Day of our nation India, we, the staff and students of St. Xavier’s Cathedral School Amravati solemnly recite the most beautiful prayer “the Preamble of the Constitution of our County” which entails the most valuable human values such as Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. When we recite these words, we in fact make a pledge to make our county a place where these human ideals and values are greatly upheld and lived out. Hence we as responsible citizens of our country need to practice these virtues in our homes, schools, class rooms and the society at large even in the midst of coronavirus pandemic.

Pope Francis rightly calls this unprecedented pandemic as a “time of trial,” giving us a chance to re-orient our lives towards God and to have solidarity with others. True, we have to see each other, above and beyond any differences, as members of one large family where we bear each other’s burdens and struggles. We should never be infected by the evil of indifference but be always ready to take risks to do good to others and to save the lives of others. In other words that’s what education is all about.

Barack Obama, the former President of America says, “Education is not a name of any degree or certificate that can be shown to others as a proof. Education is of your attitude, actions, language and behavior with others in real life.” So let us treasure these constitutional values and put them into practice and bring forth happiness, prosperity and well-being to all.

Do good.. Stay Happy and Stay Healthy. May God bless each one of you.
