Most Rev. Elias Gonsalves

His Grace Elias Gonsalves, Archbishop of Nagpur and Apostolic Administrator of Amravati

(FOUNDER)

    Archbishop Elias Gonsalves was born on 4th July 1961 in Vasai, Bombay.
    Education:

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History and Economics from the University of Bombay (1982).
  • Seminary studies at ST. Pius X College, Goregaon, Bombay (1983 to 1990).
  • He did his studies in Counselling in 1986 from St. Xavier’s College Mumbai.
  • He also completed a six month course in School Administration (1986).
  • He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Bombay on 1st April 1990. He was ordained the Bishop of Amravati on 29th July 2012 and then he was elevated as the Archbishop of Nagpur on 3rd December 2019.

Rt. Rev. Bishop Malcolm Sequeira

(MANAGER)

Rt. Rev. Bishop Malcom Sequeira on November 30th, he was appointed as the New Bishop of Amravati. He was born on November 4, 1961, in the diocese of Giriz Vasai. He was ordained as a priest on April 13, 1996. Bishop Malcom Sequeira pursued his studies in philosophy and theology at St. Pius Goregaon, Bombay, and engaged in artistic endeavors with an internal creation profession from Rachana Sansad Bombay and an art profession at Vishwavidhyalay Pune. He furthered his education in the social field at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. Since 2005, Bishop Malcolm has been actively involved in various roles, serving as the Diocesan Social Forum and editor of Pune Jeevan magazine. From 2008 to 2013, he took on the responsibilities of Parish Priest at St. Patrick Cathedral Church in Pune. In 2009, Bishop Malcolm assumed the role of Diocesan Advisor, showcasing his commitment to broader guidance within the community. Demonstrating his leadership qualities, he held the position of Vicar General from 2012 until the present. His contributions extend to the Property Committee, where his insights and dedication were valuable. Following this, he was appointed as the Parish Priest at Divya Kripa & St. Ann in Pune, showcasing his diverse and extensive service to the community.

Fr. J. A. Ramsheen

(PRINCIPAL)

Fr. J. A. Ramsheen was born on 14th October 1974. He has done his Graduation in Theology from Jana Deepa Vidhyapeeth, aninstitute of Philosophy and Religion, Papal Seminary, Pune and was ordained a priest on 27th January 2002.
He has done his graduation in English Literature from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu and has done his Bachelor’s degree in Education and Master’s degree in Professional Social Work from Amravati University.
He was the Principal and Manager of St. Xavier’s English School, Shegaon, Buldana Dist. from 2010-2014 and the Principal and Manager of Sacred Heart School, Paratwada from 2015 - 2018.
